The Concours was previously held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, where it received much acclaim for the annual display of rare and beautiful vehicles.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The theme of the 2023 Concours is <b>The Art of Aerodynamics<\/b>, including cars from the beginnings of streamlined vehicles, featuring early race cars, up to and including today\u2019s most-advanced supercars. About 50 professional concours judges from around the country will determine the winners in a number of classes, as well as choosing the coveted Best of Show.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Concours is partnering with Scottsdale Arts, one of Arizona\u2019s largest arts nonprofits, to present the event, which blends history, design and technology. Proceeds from the Concours will benefit local artists and art programs.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Potential entrants are encouraged to visit the Concours website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arizonaconcours.com\/\">ArizonaConcours.com<\/a>, and click on \u201cVehicle Submission\u201d to call up the form for entering vehicles for consideration. See the list of judged classes on the site for where your special vehicle would fit in.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Advance tickets for the Concours are also available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arizonaconcours.com\/\">ArizonaConcours.com<\/a> website, the Scottsdale Arts box office and at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottsdalearts.org\/events\">ScottsdaleArts.org\/events<\/a>. Annis is the Founder and Editor of Vintage Racecar\/Vintage Roadcar magazine, the Petersen Museum\u2019s Finish Line and Petersen Quarterly, Alfa Owner, and The Oily Rag magazines. He founded Parabolica Publishing in 1997 after a career in biology, anatomy and neurobiology. Along with this passion for automobiles Casey is a long distance open-ocean paddleboard racer who\u2019s competed in the 32-mile Catalina to Manhattan Beach race and the 32-mile Molokai to Oahu race.
