Jochen Mass won his only F1 race at the 1975 Spanish GP. He also drove to an overall victory for Mercedes at Le Mans in 1989, and these days, he pilots a vintage 300 SL Gullwing from the Mercedes museum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mass talked about the differences between driving hard in Formula 1, and enjoying the ambiance at the Mille Miglia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jacky Ickx drove for Ferrari and won six F1 races for the Scuderia between 1968 and ’72. That makes him a national hero in Italy. He also claimed six overall wins at Le Mans. That makes him a legend. He was the object of attention and affection everywhere he went at the 2023 Mille Miglia.<\/span><\/p>\n
