Venom GT. Officially the Fastest Car in the World. It’s a\u00a0270mph\u00a0BEAST.<\/h2>\n

The Hennessey Venom GT<\/a> is now the fastest series-production car in the world capable of a proven 270.49 mph (435.31 km\/h).\u00a0This is bad news for Bugatti who held the previous record of 431.072 kph or 267.70 mph with their Bugatti 16\/4 Veyron Super Sport<\/a>.\u00a0Brian Smith of Miller Motorsport drove the Venom GT to a world-record speed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway.
