2011 North American International Auto show<\/h1>\n

With the second day now over at the North American International Auto show (NAIAS), we can present our gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2011 was thin on supercars, but Mercerdes-Benz surprised everyone by showing the SLS AMG E-CELL for the first time. Almost every manufacturer had an electric vehicle on their stand, but most were far more reserved than the bright yellow E-CELL.<\/p>\n

Untypical for Detroit were two new economy cars which will probably become prolific on the roads of North America: Hyundai unveiled their Veloster, a chiseled coupe which has a direct injection engine with an available manual or Hyundai’s new dual-clutch gearbox! Chevrolet responded with their Sonic, a small compact that looks like a mini Malibu and will replace the Aveo.<\/p>\n
