2010 Concorso Italiano<\/h1>\n

Concorso Italiano<\/a> is one of Pebble Beach weekend\u2019s<\/a> most stunning events, packed full of Italian metal new and old, and we mean each of those in both senses. It is held at the golf course at the Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Club.\u00a0Concorso Italiano\u00a0features\u00a0nearly 1,000 exotic vehicles and is a can\u2019t miss part of the traditional Monterey Bay Car\u00a0Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In its 25th year, Concorso Italiano<\/a> had the largest display of the 2010 Monterey Weekend. Two fairways at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch were filled with Ferraris<\/a> and other generous areas were reserved for Alfa Romeo<\/a>, Lamborghini<\/a>, DeTomaso<\/a> and Maserati<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the center display, a selection of the best entrants were assembled around three feature cars. For Alfa Romeo’s centenary, Jon Shirley brought an impressive pair of pre-war 8Cs<\/a>. These were joined by the one-of Ferrari SP1<\/a> from Japan. This striking Fioravanti Ferrari later took the Best of Show honors.<\/p>\n

With these highlights and many enthusiastic owners, the 2010 Concorso reaffirmed the event’s position as major player on Friday of the Monterey Week. We hope our feature gallery by Richard Owen and Tristan De Caro can live up to the event’s size.<\/p>\n
