Take for example the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/cars\/4920.html\">Pontiac Tempest Super Duty<\/a> that traded hands for $455,000 USD.<\/p>\n<p>Three Pontiacs from Dana Mecum&#8217;s personal collection were on offer and they were all the most desirable of their kind. Along with the Coupe mentioned above, Dana offered a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/cars\/4921.html\">Station Wagon Super Duty<\/a> which sold for just $5,000 less. Also included was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/cars\/4922.html\">&#8216;Swiss Cheese&#8217; Catalina<\/a> that fetched a high bid of $475,000 and is still available. Both these models established Pontiac&#8217;s 1963 performance credentials and eventually led to the famous GTO.<\/p>\n<p>Top sale of the weekend went to this Harley J. Earl <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/cars\/333.html\">custom-built Corvette<\/a> that sold for $925,000 USD.
