Supercars.net usually doesn&#8217;t cover F1 but this event attracts some of the best entrants and cars. The circuit hasn&#8217;t changed since 1929 and the historic cars get to race it two weeks before the modern F1 takes place.<\/p>\n<p>Separated into eight classes, this year Monaco dropped the cute Formula Juniors in favor of some more potent F3 machines. Our favorites always come from Grid A which is typcially packed with prewar Alfa Romeos, ERAs and Bugattis. Like every year, Monaco reserved a race for sports cars which had a world-class grid.<\/p>\n<p>Dirk de Jager made the run down to Monaco to capture everything that the weekend had to offer for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/gallery\/119513\/2414\/1.html\">our feature gallery<\/a>. One of this favorite cars was the Squire 1500 which had been shown at the Villa d&#8217;Este Concours just weeks earlier.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_534410\"
