That&#8217;s the story of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supercars.net\/cars\/1727.html\">this Bugatti<\/a> which was one of the first road-going supercars. It competed alongside the best German Grand Prix cars and later became the sports car you see here. In a sense, the modern equivalent would be a Renault F1 car with some fenders and lights.<\/p>\n<p>Today, this car appears in the exact configuration as delivered to Leopold III of Belgium. Remarkably it is completely original, offering a tremendous sight at the 2009 Festival of Speed.<\/p>\n<p>Today we feature Leopold&#8217;s Bugatti straight from Goodwood courtesy of photographer Tim Scott.
