Nevertheless, I\u2019ve come across a book that at least some of you will appreciate: the fourth edition of the World Registry of Cobras &amp; GT40s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A truly massive work, its 1,618 pages are packed with vital statistics on not only Cobras and GT40s, but an exhaustive number of variations and knockoffs as well. Shelby Mustangs and Shelby Dodges are excluded, but editor Kopec tells me he\u2019s already working on The World Registry of Shelby Mustangs. Perhaps then he\u2019ll turn his attention to the Dodges and maybe even include the Shelby Indycar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This book goes well beyond a simple listing of serial numbers, production dates and owners to detail the individual history of each Cobra and GT40 ever produced \u2014 almost every one accompanied by a photograph. It\u2019s not just a registry, though, as it also includes articles discussing topics like establishing the value of an individual car. For anyone interested in Shelby, Cobras and GT40s, this book is highly recommended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The price is a relatively hefty $225, but considering its 8.5 x 11-inch hardbound format and the detailed data, it\u2019s actually a bargain.
