As the NY Auto Show (NYIAS) is just around the corner we feel obliged to cover the latest developments. While some of the companies have the tenacity to release SUVs or Trucks in the crowdest American metropolis, we gleefully avoid them in the pursuit of performance and art.<\/p>\n

Every year Ford seem to take the NY spotlight with a specially developed Mustang and 2007 is no different. The show will mark the return of the 500KR, King of the Road. Announced earlier today, the Cobra 500KR<\/a> pays homage to the Shelbys of times past<\/a> and will be delivered new in 2008.<\/p>\n

If they wonder why they call you big poppa, it’s probably because your next ride is Mercedes-Benz’s CL 65<\/a>. This tremendous AMG model packs 612 bhp and has a carbon fiber diffuser to boot. As the ultimate ‘sofa on wheels’, we applaud anyone with the courage to buy it.<\/p>\n
