And then there are icons \u2013 cars that leave their mark, monumental creations of a certain era in the automotive world. The <a href=\"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/bmw-507\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BMW 507<\/a> is most certainly not just a car. The 507 was supposed to be the car that would close the gap between the cheap British MG roadsters and the pricier Porsche and Mercedes roadsters. Stunning, flowing curves with an improved twin carburetor V8 kicking out 150 hp. But despite BMW wanting to provide the 507 in that $5000 price range,\u00a0 the production costs were simply too high.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1957-BMW-507-Roadster-Series-I418498_-scaled-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-801698\"
