But this M5 featured in a drag race video organized by c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@carwow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arwow<\/a> on YouTube is no ordinary executive saloon\u2014it&#8217;s been tuned by Evolve Automotive to produce a monstrous 1,020 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque. Despite its heavy 2,420 kg curb weight, the M5 has all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox with launch control to put its power down.<\/p>\n<p>The Ferrari, on the other hand, brings cutting-edge hybrid tech. Its 4.0L twin-turbo V8 works with three electric motors to deliver a combined 1,000 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"1292\">In the standing quarter mile, the Ferrari showed why it\u2019s one of the fastest cars in the world, completing the run in 9.6 seconds. The M5, despite its power boost, managed 10.4 seconds. Impressive, but not quite enough. Even after several runs and experimenting with launch control timing and tire temperature, the M5 simply couldn\u2019t match the SF90\u2019s acceleration off the line or its traction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1617\">Rolling races told a similar story. From 50 mph, even in manual mode and using electric power to start, the Ferrari pulled away.
