Direct fuel injection, a higher compression ratio of 12.5:1, and a bump in displacement from 5.0 litres to 5.2 litres now provide 552 horsepower, 40 more than last year\u2019s standard Gallardo and 29 more than the special-edition Gallardo Superleggera\u2026 E-gear, the single-clutch automated manual that costs an extra $10,000, now shifts faster than before and works remarkably well around town, better in fact than BMW\u2019s SMG\u2026 This Lambo is so good that the Ferrari F430 may have just been toppled.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chassis LP560\/4<\/h2>\n

This Gallardo LP560\/4 was sold new to Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah, the famous Kuwaiti car collector and former Prime Minister, in January 2010. The copy invoice on file from the official Lamborghini dealer shows he paid the equivalent of $260,300. The colour, Azzurro Aquarius, is rare and more normally associated with the Murci\u00e9lago, paired with a pale blue leather interior piped in dark blue, and dark blue carpets edged in light blue to match.<\/p>\n

His Excellency kept the car until the summer of 2023, when we acquired it and sent it to Top Motors Salvioli in Modena for comprehensive servicing and Carrozzeria Cremonini for detailing (respective invoices for \u20ac4,127 and \u20ac2,700 on file). As the car was not registered, we sent it to Dubai, where it is now located, tax paid, road registered and ready for onward importation to any other country. It comes with its factory owner\u2019s manuals and other accessories and, with just 247km on the odometer, is effectively a brand new 15-year-old supercar, suitable for preservation as a \u2018time warp\u2019 collectors\u2019 example.<\/p>\n
