Performance and Handling Upgrades<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the heart of each model is the updated 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 473 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque\u2014an increase of 30 hp over its predecessor. This engine, borrowed from the rear-wheel drive Carrera S, is paired with Porsche\u2019s quick-shifting 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and the rear-biased all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management system. Acceleration is brisk: the 911 Carrera 4S Coupe hits 0\u201360 mph in just 3.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package.<\/p>\n

Handling receives a serious boost with uprated brakes borrowed from the previous GTS models and improved dampers for better ride quality.
