The successor to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/koenigsegg-jesko\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jesko<\/a>, the car is named after the last racehorse ridden by Jesko von Koenigsegg, the father of company founder Christian von Koenigsegg.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,602 horsepower, the Sadair&#8217;s Spear can rev to 8,500rpm in just 0.2 seconds. It&#8217;s also about 35kg lighter than the Jesko, helping it lap Sweden&#8217;s Gotland Ring over a second quicker. The top speed is rated at over 220 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Priced at over $5 million, the car made its public debut by completing the Goodwood hillclimb in 47.14 seconds\u2014beating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/usa-startup-czinger-debuts-a-teaser-of-their-21c-hypercar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Czinger 21C<\/a>&#8216;s record last year by over a second.
