The new Porsche 911 GT3 is more expensive than ever. It’s still early days, but the debate continues to rage on in regards to whether it continues to be worth the price. When the 992.1 GT3 first arrived on the scene in 2021, its initial base price was $161,900<\/strong>. Subsequent model years of the GT3 saw MSRP increases annually, though the most significant bump came when the 992.2 GT3<\/a> arrived in 2025.<\/p>\n

While most people can now agree that the 992.2 GT3 is more technically refined<\/a>, having less torque and more weight (w\/o the newly optional Weissach Package) made justifying any price increase a hard sell, at best. But here we are today, where the GT3 now commands a base MSRP of $224,495<\/strong>\u2014that’s an undeniably significant difference of about 39% when comparing the 2021 models to the 2025 models. It’s just a little less shocking, but no more palatable, when comparing it to the latest 2024 992.1 GT3, from which the 992.2 GT3 is “only”<\/em> about 22% more.<\/p>\n
