With the Las Vegas Grand Prix just days away, McLaren Automotive has pulled the covers off Project Viva, a one-of-one McLaren 750S created by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The bespoke supercar serves as both a tribute to Las Vegas and a showcase of MSO\u2019s most intricate, story-driven craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Inspired by the spectacle, architecture and kinetic energy of Las Vegas, Project Viva reimagines the city through a striking monochrome “Sketch in Motion”<\/em> livery. Rather than leaning into the familiar neon palette, MSO opted for a more conceptual approach: hand-painted linework that captures the rhythm of the Strip, iconic signage, skyline elements, and the city\u2019s deep ties to music and performance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This artistic direction highlights McLaren\u2019s philosophy of challenging convention\u2014translating emotion and place into design through nuance rather than overt color.<\/p>\n

The special edition features Muriwai White accents\u2014referencing McLaren\u2019s heritage\u2014as well as an all-new bespoke MSO color, Vegas Nights, developed specifically for Project Viva. The deep black finish is laced with microscopic flecks of cyan, magenta and green, creating a subtle neon shimmer reminiscent of Las Vegas after dark.<\/p>\n

Every sketch and contour on the exterior was applied by hand, forming a narrative that blends the city\u2019s vibrant character with MSO\u2019s longstanding racing and design heritage.<\/p>\n

Adding an exclusive personal touch, McLaren Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri contributed hand-drawn elements to the car\u2019s exterior. Their details include signature linework and a new tenth Constructors\u2019 Championship star on the rear bumper\u2014celebrating McLaren Racing\u2019s most recent milestone.<\/p>\n
