In an era crowded with headline-grabbing hypercars, true credibility belongs to those grounded in racing success. Few badges carry greater weight than a GTR linked to Ayrton Senna, McLaren\u2019s most accomplished driver.<\/p>\n

While the road-going Senna was engineered as McLaren\u2019s most focused street car, the Senna GTR was designed to be the fastest circuit machine the company has ever produced outside Formula One. Power comes from the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8, largely unchanged in architecture but liberated from road constraints. The removal of secondary catalysts unlocks 814 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque, delivering even quicker acceleration than the standard Senna.<\/p>\n

It features a 3\u2033 wider front track and 2.7\u2033 wider rear track than the road car along with active aerodynamics, a rear spoiler with a drag reduction system, and a revised front splitter and rear diffuser. The coupe is capable of generating 2,205 pounds of downforce at 155 mph, 442 pounds more than the contemporary road car.<\/p>\n
