Hommage at R\u00e9tromobile<\/a> 2026, as part of the inaugural Ultimate Supercar Garage. Dedicated to the world of supercars, this new space within the prestigious Parisian event provided a fitting stage for the second creation from Programme Solitaire, marking a moment that seamlessly connected Bugatti\u2019s contemporary vision of bespoke craftsmanship with its rich heritage.<\/p>\n

That connection traces back two decades to the Bugatti Veyron, a car that reimagined what was possible in the automotive world and created an entirely new category of performance. Born from the vision of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Pi\u00ebch, the Veyron combined unprecedented power with refinement, establishing benchmarks that continue to inspire Bugatti today and form the philosophical foundation behind the F.K.P. Hommage.<\/p>\n

Capturing the attention of the automotive world and international media, Bugatti unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, with Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac opening the presentation. The unveiling formed part of a landmark year for the brand, building on the launch of Programme Solitaire and the 20th anniversary of the Bugatti Veyron \u2013 a car that rewrote performance expectations with more than 1,000 horsepower, and established the new hyper-GT segment. Central to that legacy was the uncompromising vision of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Pi\u00ebch, an ambition that still guides Bugatti today.<\/p>\n

The F.K.P. Hommage continues the legacy established by Programme Solitaire’s inaugural creation, Brouillard, unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2025. Limited to just two unique masterpieces per year, Programme Solitaire represents Bugatti’s commitment to the Art of Coachbuilding, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to create truly bespoke, one-of-a-kind vehicles that reflect their individual vision while paying tribute to Bugatti’s storied heritage.<\/p>\n

The moment of unveiling was led by Bugatti Head of Design, Frank Heyl, who introduced the F.K.P. Hommage to an enthusiastic audience and explained the design philosophy behind this extraordinary one-off. Built on the latest evolution of Bugatti\u2019s W16 platform, featuring a 1,600 hp quad-turbocharged engine that represents the pinnacle of two decades of engineering refinement, the F.K.P. Hommage thoughtfully bridges past and present.<\/p>\n

The exterior preserves the Veyron\u2019s iconic leaning-back posture and dropping belt line, while refining every surface, enlarging air intakes to support the enhanced powertrain, and introducing a three-dimensional horseshoe grille machined from solid aluminum that flows organically into the bodywork. A distinctive multi-layer Rouge Jubil\u00e9 paint finish \u2013 an evolution from the original \u2018Absolute Red\u2019 that featured on the Veyron \u2013 creates extraordinary visual depth, contrasted by black-tinted exposed carbon fiber.<\/p>\n

Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage represents a near-complete evolution compared with recent W16 models, including Chiron and Mistral. A bespoke circular steering wheel, along with a centre console and tunnel cover machined from solid aluminum blocks, evokes the spirit of the original Veyron, while a custom \u2018Ettore Grand\u2019 fabric in the color \u2018Havana\u2019, showcases the brand\u2019s most advanced craft. Dominating the dashboard is a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, integrated at the customer\u2019s request and set within an engine-turned \u201cisland\u201d, serving as a tribute to Bugatti\u2019s historic engineering heritage.<\/p>\n

Closing the presentation, Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles, reflected on his personal connection to the Veyron, having been part of the team that launched the car 20 years ago. Displayed alongside the F.K.P. Hommage was the original Veyron 16.4, serving as a powerful reminder of how far Bugatti has come since that groundbreaking hypercar first redefined automotive possibilities two decades ago.<\/p>\n

Throughout the four-day event, Bugatti and four of its official partners \u2013 Bugatti Bruxelles, Bugatti Gstaad, Bugatti Monaco, Bugatti Paris \u2013 came together to present a curated selection of four Bugatti-certified Veyron models: a Veyron 16.4, Grand Sport, Super Sport, and Vitesse. Certified through La Maison Pur Sang, the gathering of these motoring legends highlighted the enduring desirability of the Veyron and the prestige that comes with acquiring these celebrated hypercars through Bugatti\u2019s official network.<\/p>\n

Adding to this celebration, former Bugatti Pilote Officiel Pierre-Henri Raphanel presented a bespoke variant of his sculptural Bugatti Baby T52, a project deeply rooted in this heritage and closely linked to the spirit of the F.K.P. Executed in the same exclusive materials and colors as the new Programme Solitaire creation, the Baby T52 stands as an artistic counterpart, echoing the essence of the one-of-one through a collectible expression of motion and art. More than a century ago, Ettore Bugatti created the first Bugatti Baby for his son Roland, crafting a reduced-scale interpretation of the legendary Type 35. Today, the Baby T52 represents a true renaissance of that original icon, faithfully recreated from the 102 original design drawings of the 1920s. Entirely handcrafted in France, it underscores Bugatti\u2019s enduring commitment to heritage, precision, and exceptional savoir-faire.<\/p>\n

Also starting this incredible week on Monday, a spectacular parade through the illuminated streets of Paris brought together a collection of historic Bugatti models, including a EB110 GT and a Veyron 16.4, escorted by the prestigious Garde R\u00e9publicaine. The convoy wound through the heart of the French capital, pausing at the Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs along the famous Rue de Rivoli before arriving at the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles, building anticipation for the showcase at R\u00e9tromobile. The parade created an unforgettable spectacle as these automotive icons moved through Paris by night, with the city’s monuments providing a stunning backdrop. Meanwhile, the legendary Bugatti Autorail had traveled from the Cit\u00e9 du Train in Mulhouse to be exhibited at R\u00e9tromobile, showcasing another remarkable chapter of the marque\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
