Built to commemorate what would have been Ettore Bugatti\u2019s 110th birthday, the EB110<\/a> introduced a groundbreaking chassis that began as an aluminum design by Paolo Stanzani before being re-engineered in carbon fiber by Nicola Materazzi, famed for his work on the Ferrari F40. Produced by aerospace specialist A\u00e9rospatiale, the ultra-rigid carbon-fiber monocoque replaced an aluminum honeycomb structure that lacked sufficient stiffness, setting a new benchmark in supercar construction.<\/p>\n

Its striking shape originated from Marcello Gandini\u2019s original concept and was later refined for production by Giampaolo Benedini. Under the hood sat a 3.5-liter quad-turbocharged V12 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, generating around 553 horsepower. With a 0\u201360 mph time of roughly 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 212 mph, the EB110 was among the fastest cars of its era. With only about 85 GT<\/a> versions produced, it remains a rare and important link between Bugatti\u2019s heritage and its modern rebirth.<\/p>\n
