Ferrari says Luce embodies clarity, simplicity and purpose, combining transparent design, silent energy and form shaped by function. It is presented as a natural extension of Ferrari\u2019s heritage, blending racing DNA and timeless sports-car character with contemporary lifestyles and expectations. The global unveiling took place in San Francisco, hosted by Ferrari in collaboration with LoveFrom, the creative collective founded by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson. Ferrari has been working with LoveFrom for the past five years, entrusting the team with every aspect of Luce\u2019s design.<\/p>\n

San Francisco was chosen deliberately, reflecting its long-standing role as a global hub for technology, user experience and interface design. Ferrari describes the partnership with LoveFrom as a clear statement of intent: honouring tradition while challenging conventions and rethinking everything from materials and ergonomics to digital interfaces and user experience. LoveFrom was involved from the earliest stages of the project, defining a new cross-disciplinary design language while ensuring the car remained unmistakably Ferrari.<\/p>\n

The interior is the first tangible expression of this philosophy. Ferrari describes the cabin as a single, clean volume, designed to feel calm, focused and spacious. Forms have been simplified and rationalised to support the driving experience rather than distract from it.<\/p>\n

Hardware and software were developed in parallel, creating a close relationship between physical controls and digital interfaces. Core elements such as the binnacle, control panel and central console are self-contained and clearly organised around inputs and outputs, reinforcing clarity and ease of use.<\/p>\n

Throughout development, LoveFrom worked closely with Ferrari\u2019s Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni, ensuring the concept met Ferrari\u2019s functional targets, packaging requirements and homologation standards for a production road car.<\/p>\n

Ferrari placed strong emphasis on material authenticity and manufacturing quality. Aluminium features prominently, chosen for its precision, durability and visual purity. All aluminium components are made from 100% recycled aluminium alloy, machined from solid billets using advanced three- and five-axis CNC processes.<\/p>\n

These parts then undergo a state-of-the-art anodisation process that creates an ultra-thin hexagonal microstructure on the surface, improving hardness, resistance and tactile quality, while delivering deep, long-lasting colour.<\/p>\n

Glass elements are made from Corning\u00ae Fusion5\u00ae Glass, offering high scratch resistance and excellent optical clarity. Ferrari says the result is an interior that feels modern yet timeless, where luxury is defined by integrity, precision and longevity rather than excess.<\/p>\n
