Based on the air-cooled Type 964, each car begins with an owner-supplied donor that is completely stripped back to its steel monocoque. The chassis is strengthened with composite and steel reinforcements to improve torsional rigidity before being clothed in lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork inspired by the Turbo-look cars of the G-model era. A newly developed lightweight \u201cZ-pattern\u201d folding roof mechanism preserves a clean profile whether raised or lowered, while buyers can choose between a fixed rear wing, a speed-activated unit, or a clean decklid.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the car is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six developed with Cosworth. Producing 420 hp and revving beyond 8,000 rpm, it marks several firsts for Singer: variable valve timing, four-valve cylinder heads, and water-cooled cylinder heads paired with air-cooled cylinders. A titanium exhaust amplifies the signature flat-six soundtrack, while a six-speed manual gearbox sends power exclusively to the rear wheels.<\/p>\n
