In the latest episode of The Driver\u2019s Seat<\/em> by Hagerty<\/span><\/span><\/a>, Henry Catchpole<\/span><\/span> puts the Aston Martin Valhalla<\/span><\/span><\/a> through its paces on the scenic roads of Rioja and the Navarra circuit in northern Spain. Priced around $1 million, it sits awkwardly between traditional supercars like the Ferrari 849 Testarossa<\/span><\/span> and Lamborghini Revuelto<\/span><\/span>, and hypercars such as the Ferrari F80<\/span><\/span> and McLaren W1<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Inside, the low, reclined carbon seat and high pedals create a race-inspired driving position reminiscent of the Valkyrie<\/a>. Power comes from a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 paired with three electric motors, producing 1,064 hp and enabling a 0\u201362 mph time of 2.5 seconds. More importantly, the hybrid system enhances cornering through advanced torque vectoring.<\/p>\n

A carbon tub, adaptive Bilstein dampers, and an e-differential deliver exceptional ride quality and feedback on the road, while the new dual-clutch gearbox sharpens responsiveness. On track, active aerodynamics\u2014including a rear wing that rises 255 mm\u2014generate over 600 kg of downforce, pushing the Valhalla closer to hypercar territory.<\/p>\n
