At its core lies a hand-built, motorsport-spec engine producing a staggering 525bhp and revving to 8,200rpm. While it originates from the renowned Honda K20C Type R engine, Ariel has re-engineered it extensively with forged internals, bespoke components and race-grade systems. The result is an explosive powerplant delivering razor-sharp throttle response and relentless performance, backed by three selectable engine maps topping out at 525bhp and 550Nm.<\/p>\n

Performance figures are nothing short of sensational. The Atom 4RR rockets from 0\u201362mph in just 2.4 seconds and hits 100mph in a blistering 5.1 seconds. Thanks to its sub-700kg weight, it boasts a power-to-weight ratio of around 780bhp per tonne, firmly placing it in hypercar territory, but with a radically stripped-back philosophy.<\/p>\n
