Porsche have just officially unveiled their all new Cayenne Coup\u00e9 Electric.<\/a>\u00a0 The latest variant slots in alongside the existing gas-powered models, and now complements the already present SUV Electric platform. Crucially, this means that customers now have the choice between both the SUV and Coup\u00e9 body styles should they want to go the electric route.<\/p>\n

In their release, the company makes sure to boast about the Coup\u00e9’s design language, with its “911-derived roofline”<\/em> serving as the fundamental distinction for their latest EV platform. Not only does this amalgamate the sleek silhouette of the iconic flagship sportscar, but it also reduces drag compared to the SUV. Perhaps most notably, this gives the Coup\u00e9 an extra 18 km of range, bringing the total range up to 669 km on a full charge<\/strong>. Their new body style also allows for the implementation of an adaptive rear spoiler, further articulating the Coup\u00e9’s more sporty nature.<\/p>\n

“The gently sloping roofline sweeps elegantly over the car\u2019s broad shoulders and gives the Cayenne Coup\u00e9 a particularly sporty appearance,”<\/em> says Thomas Stopka, Head of Exterior Design, Style Porsche.<\/p>\n
