The new Ferrari Luce, previously known under the working title \u201cElettrica,\u201d represents a dramatic shift for Ferrari as the marque enters the electric era with its first fully battery-powered production vehicle. Far from following the familiar supercar EV formula, the Luce embraces an entirely fresh philosophy\u2014one centered on innovation, usability, and emotional design.<\/p>\n

Created in collaboration with design collective LoveFrom, led by former Apple design chief Sir Jonathan Ive and industrial designer Marc Newson, the Luce blends cutting-edge technology with a distinctly human approach. Its radical monobox silhouette, aerodynamic efficiency, and flowing surfaces give the car a futuristic, almost concept-car presence. Rear-hinged coach doors, a floating nose, and sculpted flying-bridge C-pillar contribute to what Ferrari describes as its most aerodynamically advanced road car to date.<\/p>\n

Beneath the striking exterior lies an all-new bespoke electric platform featuring four independent electric motors\u2014one powering each wheel. Producing 1,035 horsepower, the Luce accelerates from 0\u201362 mph in just 2.5 seconds, reaches a top speed of 192 mph, and delivers an estimated 330-mile range. Despite measuring over five meters long and accommodating five adults, Ferrari has kept weight to a relatively competitive 2,260 kg through extensive engineering and battery integration that also enhances structural rigidity.<\/p>\n

Yet the Luce\u2019s greatest revelation may be its interior. Rejecting touchscreen overload, Ferrari emphasizes tactile, analog-inspired interaction. Beautifully crafted rotary controls, physical climate switches, sculpted aluminum surfaces, and a pivoting display create an experience that feels mechanical, deliberate, and deeply engaging. Inspired by classic Ferraris while embracing modern innovation, the cabin prioritizes comfort and versatility, offering limousine-like rear space and a luxurious atmosphere.<\/p>\n
