Audi has revealed the all-new Nuvolari, a limited-production hybrid hypercar set to become the fastest and most powerful road car in the brand’s history. At the heart of the Nuvolari is a high-performance hybrid powertrain that pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 800 hp with three axial-flux electric motors. The result is a breathtaking performance: 0-100 km\/h in 2.6 seconds and 0-200 km\/h in just 6.8 seconds. Audi says the V8 revs to an incredible 10,000 rpm, bringing race-car character to the road.<\/p>\n

The Nuvolari also debuts Audi’s new “quattro predictive ride”<\/em> system, which uses real-time vehicle data to proactively manage torque distribution, braking, and aerodynamics for maximum grip and stability. Drivers can choose from multiple drive modes, including a dedicated Track Mode with adjustable traction-control settings. A new Audi Space Frame combined with a carbon-fiber exterior helps reduce weight while increasing rigidity. Nearly every body panel is constructed from CFRP using Formula 1-derived manufacturing techniques, while forged center-lock wheels make their first appearance on a production Audi.<\/p>\n

Active aerodynamics play a major role in the hypercar’s performance. A deployable rear wing features Formula 1-style DRS functionality and can generate more than 400 kg of downforce in high-performance settings. Audi says every aerodynamic element has been optimized with input from its Formula 1 drivers. Stopping power comes from a new Ceramic Pro braking system featuring ten-piston front calipers, brake-by-wire technology, and Formula 1-inspired carbon brake discs capable of handling extreme thermal loads.<\/p>\n
