The Technology: Formula 1 innovations hit the road<\/h2>\n

The Nuvolari marks Audi\u2019s entry into the high-performance hybrid supercar segment and signals the brand\u2019s ambitions at the top end of the premium performance market. Built around a newly developed Audi Space Frame<\/a> with a carbon-fiber exterior, the Nuvolari combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three axial-flux electric motors to produce a combined output of 1,001 PS. Audi claims the supercar accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 217 mph. The model also debuts Quattro Predictive Ride, the next evolution of Audi\u2019s renowned quattro<\/a> technology.
