The CCGT1 generates up to 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, placing it between the Jesko Attack and Sadair’s Spear in Koenigsegg’s lineup for peak downforce. Unlike a car designed solely around maximum numbers, however, the CCGT1 has been engineered to produce useful aerodynamic grip at comparatively lower speeds. Almost every body panel has been redesigned from the CC850, with the exception of the doors and removable roof. Cooling capacity and aerodynamic performance were major priorities for the redesign.

The centerpiece is the enormous active rear wing, which can automatically adjust through 30 degrees. The cockpit features lightweight carbon-fiber seats with a six-point harness for the driver, while the third-generation Chronocluster places essential information directly within the driver’s line of sight. A mechanical G-meter sits at the center of the instrument cluster, while the sequential shifter is positioned just inches from the steering wheel.

Koenigsegg is also offering its first factory-designed track package.
