A bespoke Veyron marks two decades since Bugatti\u2019s original hypercar changed the performance-car world, combining modern materials, Chiron-inspired details and meticulous craftsmanship from La Maison Pur Sang.<\/h3>\n

Twenty years after the Bugatti Veyron redefined what was possible from a production road car, Bugatti is celebrating the icon with an exceptionally special creation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Unveiled during Monterey Car Week at Pebble Beach, the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years is a one-of-one project developed through Bugatti\u2019s exclusive certification and restoration division. Created in close collaboration with its owner, the unique Veyron demonstrates how Bugatti can preserve an automotive icon while giving it a distinctly modern and personalized character.<\/p>\n

Launched at R\u00e9tromobile in Paris in 2020, La Maison Pur Sang was established to protect, restore, certify and, where requested, reimagine historic Bugatti automobiles. The program provides owners with everything from meticulous factory-spec restoration and maintenance to highly personalized commissions featuring bespoke materials, finishes and design details.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Veyron 20 Years represents the program at its most expressive.<\/p>\n

A new look for a modern classic<\/h3>\n

The one-off Veyron combines its unmistakable original proportions with a selection of contemporary Bugatti design cues.<\/p>\n

Its exterior is finished in two colors that have never previously been offered on the Veyron: Rouge Rembrandt, a newly developed shade associated with the Bugatti Tourbillon, and Petrol Blue, a signature color of the Chiron. The combination is complemented by a Magnolia interior.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While the Veyron’s instantly recognizable silhouette remains intact, carefully considered changes give the car a more contemporary presence.<\/p>\n

Among the most significant modifications are a completely reworked wheel design and larger wheels that allow the Veyron to run tires in Chiron dimensions. Inspired by the original Machiavelli wheel, Bugatti has reinterpreted the design for a larger application, measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The result gives the Veyron a more planted stance without abandoning the design language that made the original hypercar instantly recognizable.<\/p>\n

Bugatti has also introduced new three-dimensional mesh elements to the front, side and rear air intakes. The updated components add a subtle technical character while maintaining the Veyron’s original visual identity.<\/p>\n

A cabin inspired by fine watchmaking<\/h3>\n

Inside, La Maison Pur Sang has taken an equally meticulous approach.<\/p>\n

The cabin features bespoke Mocassin stitching, hand-crafted specifically for the project and applied to the steering wheel and gear selector. Between the seats sits a special “20 Years of Veyron” emblem commemorating two decades of the model’s influence on automotive history.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most striking interior detail is the center console.<\/p>\n

Bugatti has applied a C\u00f4te de Gen\u00e8ve finish to the three-dimensional surface, borrowing a decorative technique traditionally associated with high-end mechanical watch movements. Translating the intricate motif onto such a large automotive component required a significant level of craftsmanship and technical expertise.<\/p>\n

It is a fitting detail for a car whose engineering has always occupied the intersection of automotive performance, precision and mechanical artistry.<\/p>\n

“The Veyron is one of the most important cars in Bugatti history, and any adjustment to that original, legendary formula must begin with respect,”<\/em> said Frank Heyl, Bugatti’s Director of Design. “With the La Maison Pur Sang program, we are preserving the essence of each Bugatti, while giving owners the opportunity to bring a new dimension of personal expression to their car.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Preserving the Veyron for a new generation<\/h3>\n

According to Bugatti, La Maison Pur Sang is not simply about modifying historic cars. The program is fundamentally focused on protecting their authenticity, provenance and long-term value.<\/p>\n

For some Veyron owners, that means returning a car to its original specification through careful restoration, maintenance and certification. Others can take a more personalized approach, introducing new materials, colors, finishes and details while retaining the vehicle’s essential identity.<\/p>\n

“The Veyron is a legend of automotive history that continues to be cherished,”<\/em> said Luigi Galli, Bugatti Specialist Heritage and Certification. “In the hands of La Maison Pur Sang’s specialists, it evolves with the same level of passion that first brought it to life.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Alexis Ploix, Bugatti’s Director of After Sales and Customer Service, emphasized that even the smallest details are part of the process.<\/p>\n

“Power is in the small details,”<\/em> Ploix said, pointing to the project’s new wheels, tire technology, interior refinements and the extensive technical work undertaken by Bugatti’s specialists.<\/p>\n

A new chapter for the Veyron<\/h3>\n

The original Veyron remains one of the most important cars in modern automotive history. When it arrived in production form in 2005, its combination of four-digit horsepower, all-wheel drive, extreme engineering complexity and supercar usability pushed the boundaries of what a road-going production car could achieve.<\/p>\n

Two decades later, Bugatti is approaching the Veyron from a different perspective. Rather than simply preserving the car as a piece of history, the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years demonstrates how an iconic Bugatti can be carefully evolved without losing its original character.<\/p>\n

Bugatti has also launched a dedicated Veyron configurator alongside the Monterey Car Week unveiling. Select features from the one-off project will be made available to customers, opening the door for other Veyron owners to begin their own personalized La Maison Pur Sang journeys.<\/p>\n
