Bugatti\u2019s one-of-one Brouillard made its public debut in spectacular fashion at the 2026 Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, where the latest creation from the marque\u2019s exclusive Programme Solitaire was handed over to its owner before taking home the event\u2019s \u2018Best of Show Concept-cars, restomods & one-offs\u2019 award.<\/p>\n

The setting could hardly have been more appropriate. Held at the Ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly in France, the prestigious concours brought together more than 700 collector cars and their owners, blending automotive design and history with the elegance and tradition of the French Art de Vivre.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For Bugatti, the weekend carried particular significance. Brouillard is the first creation from Programme Solitaire, the brand\u2019s new coachbuilding initiative focused on highly personalized, one-of-one automobiles created in close collaboration with individual customers.<\/p>\n

A private handover at the ch\u00e2teau<\/h3>\n

Before Brouillard was presented to the wider concours audience, Bugatti held a private celebration inside the Ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly\u2019s D\u00f4me of the Great Staples. Surrounded by family and friends, the car\u2019s owner officially took delivery of the unique Bugatti in an intimate ceremony attended by the Bugatti team that had worked with the customer throughout the car\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The handover represented the culmination of a highly personal design and engineering process, with Brouillard created not simply as a unique automobile, but as an expression of its owner\u2019s individual vision.<\/p>\n

That philosophy sits at the heart of Programme Solitaire. While each creation is intensely personalized, Bugatti says every car must remain connected to the design, engineering and coachbuilding traditions established in Molsheim.<\/p>\n

“Chantilly Arts & Elegance has always felt deeply aligned with our brand, bringing together French elegance, craftsmanship, heritage and the pleasure of sharing extraordinary automobiles in an incomparable setting,”<\/em> said Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director of Bugatti.<\/p>\n

“This year was especially meaningful because the Bugatti Brouillard was handed over to its owner here, inside the Ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly, under the mesmerizing D\u00f4me of the Great Staples, surrounded by the people whose vision, passion and skill made it possible.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Malinowski added that seeing Brouillard progress from its private unveiling to the Bugatti Parade and ultimately the concours podium represented the essence of what Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire is intended to achieve.<\/p>\n

Brouillard leads the Bugatti parade<\/h3>\n

Following its private handover, Brouillard made its public appearance in the Concept Class of the Concours d\u2019\u00c9l\u00e9gance, where it was presented by Mate Rimac and Christophe Piochon.<\/p>\n

The one-off also led Bugatti\u2019s parade around the Ch\u00e2teau grounds, bringing together modern and pre-war examples of the marque. Among the historic cars were Type 39, Type 35, Type 35 A, Type 51, Type 13 Brescia, Type 37, Type 37 A and Type 40 Grand Sport models. A 1925 Type 35 also claimed victory in the event\u2019s \u2018Bugatti: Race Cars\u2019 class.<\/p>\n

The gathering provided a visual connection between Bugatti\u2019s earliest racing and road cars and its latest coachbuilt creations. For Brouillard, it was a reminder that despite its radically modern execution, the car is intended to continue a lineage stretching back to Ettore Bugatti\u2019s original philosophy of combining beauty, innovation and performance.<\/p>\n

A showcase of Bugatti’s modern era<\/h3>\n

Bugatti Paris also curated a collection of significant modern cars for the weekend, highlighting the different ways the marque has approached personalization and performance over the past two decades.<\/p>\n

The display included the Veyron La Maison Pur Sang 20 Years and the Sur Mesure W16 Mistral ‘Le Retour de Jeune Prince’, alongside the W16 Mistral World Record Car and Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Three Veyron variants and a Chiron Profil\u00e9e also participated in a rally through the roads surrounding Chantilly, while guests later gathered at the Polo Club for lunch with Mate Rimac, Hendrik Malinowski and Bugatti Director of Design Frank Heyl.<\/p>\n

The weekend continued beyond the cars themselves. Sunday\u2019s Garden Party featured hot-air balloon rides, boat tours along the Grand Canal and horse-drawn carriages, recreating the social atmosphere that characterized the earliest concours events.<\/p>\n

Brouillard claims the Top Concept Award<\/h3>\n

The culmination came when Brouillard was awarded \u2018Best of Show Concept-cars, restomods & one-offs.\u2019 The accolade came as the owner drove the unique Bugatti around Le N\u00f4tre\u2019s Water Mirrors, providing the first opportunity for the public to see Programme Solitaire\u2019s inaugural creation in motion.<\/p>\n

For Bugatti, Brouillard represents more than another limited-production hypercar. It is intended as a modern interpretation of the traditional coachbuilt automobile: a singular machine developed around an individual customer while remaining unmistakably tied to the marque\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n
