$70,000 for a V6? STUPID!!!!!

jesus, i don't like bashing people, but you're very foolish. If a V6 produces this kind of performance STOCK, then I commend Nissan and the design team for their work.

I'd still rather buy an E90 M3, black on black.

 

But European cars are heavy and can't handle.

Neither the Z06 nor this car are anything but awesome.

The Z06 is a $65,000 car that has been clocked at 3.4 seconds to 60.

And this car is a $70,000 car that I would put money on it being able to pull 3.2 seconds to 60.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just defending your point and the Z06 simultaneously.

And the GT-R is so fast because of its intelligent 4WD system (it detects where power is most needed and puts it on those wheels). That will knock probably a full second off of the 0-60 time over either form of two wheel drive.

C&D is actually stating the sticker price for this V6 is 85k. Now that is whack!

 

For those of you who call the GTR a tank, consider this: it does weigh 3800 pounds (473hp) and the Z06 weighs around 3200 pounds (500hp), a difference of 600 pounds, the GTR did manage a better lap time on the Nur at 7:38 vs. 7:42 for the Z06.

Would be nice to see both of these cars run the Nur in the same day, so we can rule out weather and track condition. The Vette & Viper have some serious competition now, they're all relatively in the same hp/price range.

It still is a tank...A fast tank, but a tank nonetheless...3800lbs is a lot compared the what the R34 used to weigh... The funny thing about the Viper and Vette, is that Dodge beefed up the power but the vette is still spanking it.

 

For $70,000 I would rather go through the hassle and import a real Skyline GT-R. Just my 2 cents.
