The whole car, including the rims, was designed by a small group of Jaguar engineers on their spare time. Jaguar didn't actually endorse the car 'til it was unveiled for production.

I think the rims are cool. It's good to be different from time to time and you don't always need to see the brakes.

True, but a few holes in those rims would be nice. No full rims.

    keep the faith

its an Exremely Sleek car indeed, i like the rims on this car, i'm getting bored of seeing the 5 star'd rims anyways, This car would look Phat in Dark Navy Blue Mettalic

I have to admit that the rims are quite booty. And Renegade, I'm glad to see that others love DBZ as much as me.

the rims go good w/ the body style, it wouldnt look as nice with 5 spokes

  12. Re: best #$%#ing car ever!, but who the hell made them rims?

Again I agree, the rims o this car look dope. I should imagine they cost a pretty penny as well..like £2,00 each or sumthing. They give it a more sleek look insted of having to see the big brakes underneath.

This car looks phat in every color (even yellow). But yes, this car does look sweet in Dark Blue. Check this link for the inner workings of the greatest cars ever: http://www.jcna.com/library/news/2001/jcna0030.html

incredible machine. fast as #$%# and awesome looking. but one thing about it, this is was the prototype. the one that had a big mishap on the test course? at those times after that no one wanted to #$%# with a V12. one word of advice, just watch ur revs if ur gonna drive that car.

I think the rims were a risky venture - however, I couldn't imagine this car without them. Its authentically "XJ220"

the rims look like a piece or crap

    this is a mad car

  20. Re: best #$%#ing car ever!, but who the hell made them rims?

Felix, you are absolutely right. While the rims do leave something to be desired, it is as much a part of the XJ220 as the car and engine. I would put them on my car, though, my XJ220.

the rims would kick ass if they were chromed out...or big ass growler emblems...just like the bat logo on the batmobile's wheels...
