Car

  1. I drive a fair distance on freeways every day, I need a reasonably safe car. I see a lot of crashes. Im aiming to spend about $10k, but I can push as long as I justify it to the minister of finance.

Also, my house is not a mansion, it is a 2 bedroom federation cottage, 1 bedroom floor is caving in, it has 1 bathroom, a terrible kitchen, and is on 180sqm of land.

  2. i thought about the fiesta as well, but it was really really disappointing when i sat inside.

  3. They're probably one of the best driving cars of that size, though. Really great handling. Ford have been doing well in the handling stakes since the mk1 Focus came out.

I hired a 1.2 zetec or something a while ago, and it was super fun.

  4. I took a Fiesta ST for a drive a week or two before I left NZ and was really blown away by the performance.
The interior is just a bit shit, though. Almost deal breaker shit. They're still a fantastic car for the price, I'm just not entirely sure I could live with that interior :/

That is worse than the Subaru I crashed. I was thinking this:

    or this:

Id really like a new model FJ cruiser or a Wrangler, but both of those start at around $30k for a decent one, and that's not going to pass with mass expenditure about to start.

Lol, to be fair $10k is the minimum you need over there for a decent poor-person car. Buy a Falcon XR6 like this http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ford-Falcon-2010/SSE-AD-3250960/?Cr=8

If the dollar keeps going down I might even consider importing a car from there

  10. Sheesh, why do terrible people want to get the same car as me?

How many dumbasses signed up with Fireturds/Camaros when I had mine?

Antipimpage went out and got a VW TDI after I got mine.

    Now burner wanting an FJ.

  11. Time to get a good car

  12. They've all been good cars! Or in the fireturd's case, good at something at least.

  13. Seat Ibiza ST is great #$%#ing deal too

  14. I've been considering a Citigo lately

  15. It would be better than all of the current poll options.

  16. Mazda 2 perhaps. Also, diesel engine isn't really worth it in this category I think.

Edit: I'd go for a second hand MiTo, though (155hp/170hp)
