    * A total of 350 vintage cars from all eras are expected

This year, Mercedes-Benz will be the center of attraction as the guest of honor brand at the 32nd International Oldtimer Meeting in Baden-Baden, Germany, which will be held from July 11–13, 2008. The world’s oldest automobile manufacturer will be presenting some 70 exceptional vehicles from the company’s 120-year history. The event organizers are hoping that around 350 classic cars from every era will be present from all over Europe. This year, once again, the vintage cars will transform the Kurpark and Kaiserallee in Baden-Baden into a spectacular open-air museum showcasing the history of the automobile that will be open to everyone. As many as 20,000 visitors are expected to visit the park exhibition in the spa resort town.

Mercedes-Benz will be presenting some absolute rarities at the event: for example, a Mercedes-Benz 540 K Roadster dating back to 1936, and a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from the 1950s, with its characteristic gullwing doors. A further highlight among the participants will be the Mercedes-Benz 300 “Adenauer”, in which Queen Elizabeth II traveled through Germany during her first state visit after the Second World War. In addition, a Benz Victoria from 1894 and a replica of the Benz Patent Motor Car will be available for demonstration trips around the Kurpark.
