Photos don't even come close to doing it justice. I'd been in Prague for a while and seen most of it, was at a very typical, picturesque white castle earlier in the day and this quaint little town completely eclipsed all of that. Possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And that pic was taken from a pretty beautiful, unique castle as well.

EDIT: Not the most accurate drawing, obviously, but check out that layout. So amazing. That digital pic was taken from the white archways towards the top middle-left of this pic.
5. So, so many stairs in Prague. And the longest escalators I've ever seen, haha. Though, this was a pretty short one.

I shot for almost a year with one camera and a 50mm lens. I have been shooting with my M4 and 50mm Summicron since November, and I rarely use other cameras or lenses. It's a good excercise, but I wouldn't like to limit myself to a 1 camera 1 lens kit. I still use other cameras when I need a different focal length. I'll buy a Voigtlander 35mm 1.2 and a Zeiss 25mm 2.8 for the Leica soon though, so I might stop using my other film cameras unless I need to carry two cameras. I'm also digging the Voigtlander 50mm 1.1, but these lenses are around a grand each, so that will have to wait a bit.

So basically, get yourself an M2 or M4 with a 50mm Summicron (or Canon 50mm 1.4 with LTM adapter) and use that for a few months. Then you can expand from there according to your needs. Also, soviet lenses are cheap and sometimes very good, but they're not fully compatible with Leicas (won't focus correctly), so skip those.
You should also shoot Youxin Ye an email when you are ready to buy a Leica, he can hook you up with some nice deals on M2s and M3s.
12. the plastic feels pretty cheap, and the focusing ring isn't very nice. that being said the only direct comparison I have (i.e. a prime lens) is a 1950s Zeiss. lol
13. and i compare it to my kitlens. now that feels cheap.
14. god i hate the kit lens. I only have it still because of the wide angle.

plastic mount lol
15. I've felt so many mamiya, nikon and canon lenses now that any of these new ones coming out look like a joke when it come to build quality. Bias opinion
16. look who were parading through the garden They were constantly running away from me, so they only looked towards me/the camera a few times.
17. Last one = "Haters gonna hate"
18. Some new prints I made.

8x10 on fiber paper. Scans look SO shitty lol
19. digging the subway shot.
20. I like that one, too. Here's one of my Prague metro shots. Came out alright, but not quite what I'd hoped. My lens being stuck at f1.4 really limits what I can do with exposure lengths.

EDIT: And I'm man enough to say that those photos are pretty damn cute, Basman.
