ill bring up a porche turbo which is alot smaller than this and sadly beat it in almost every aspect.....and 8i will even smoke itwith a supercharged skyline so for this price ill get another car.....and smoke anyone driving this..

Yes the porsche would beat the viper but take the fact that the viper was a prototype car, and the Porshe is a production. everyone here should try to judge cars here more unbiased. I odnt know about any of you, but i'm sick and tired of hereing ppl say "a skyline would beat this" or a Viper would smoke that, who cares except for yourself? We can think for ourselves if one car would beat another..... n e ways, i think this car has some stying cues of the supra, notice the lights, and especially (to me) the rear end (exlucding the lights). There is just sumthing about it that reminds me of the supra. (must be the asian designer) Overall i like this car, much better then the new viper replacement due out in 2003. Do you really even know anything about cars, or did you learn everything you know from playing Gran Turismo 3. It would take a heavily modded Skyline to hang with this. Re: peice of crap.... Actually top speed wise and quarter mile wise this car is faster then both a porsche turbo and porsche gt2. The only 0-60 times will porsche win but im not so sure of that because ive heard 3.9 seconds for the turbo. Also top speed this car is lil more then 10 miles faster then both porsches. And teh handlign of this car is great it does not suck. Its comparable to that of the porches. And stock for stock this car will kill the skyline.<!-- Signature -->

Re: peice of crap.... this viper kicks @. i just recently built a custom version of this car based on Dodge's specs. but i made some windtunnel tests and with the proper h/p and drivetrain, suspension etc. this car based on aerodynamics could kill even an Enzo. who cares if you think this car is crap...just settle this on the dragstrip!

This car costs less then the porsche gt2 911 turbo and is almost the same as performance...hah once you have driven or ridden in a viper you will understand what power means. your 400hp skyline wouldnt stand a chance stock...and even if you upgraded to 500hp the viper would still rape your ass, dont make a jackass out of yourself until YOU KNOW about what you are talking about.

I tell you what though, I would be the smarted, because I payed less for what you payed for. $70,000 for 500 bhp, 525 lb-ft torque, 200+ mph on a CONVERTABLE, American made and the best performing car for under $100,000. Your Porsche and Skyline would run you up a few hundred grand. With that much spare for me, I would buy another Viper. One Viper to kick each of your cars asses. I may drive an import, but the Viper is the car of my dreams. And, if you are american, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!
Re: peice of crap.... man what's wrong with you, thinking this viper is crap.this sight needs to upgrade stats. on some cars. like the viper hennessey 800tt. if you go to dodge-vipers.com and go to videos you can watch a video of the 800tt doing a 9.920 quarter mile. there is also a viper 1000tt. if you want a video of that car doing a quarter mile go to hennesseymotorsports.com it does a 8.9 q/mile. and i also read this car actully does 0-60 in 2.6 sec. and there is no way in living hell a porche or skyline would beat this car.and don't get me wrong porches and skylines are great cars but can't even be compared to this car. get your facs right.the fastes 0-60 is actully a 1994 ford mustang boss. look it up.
Re: peice of crap.... hold up boys which one of you has driven this ???? how can you comment on the handling ? 0-60 is always gonna be the porsche 1 cause got 4 wheel drive so gets power down quicker two its lighter so needs less torque to get the bastard moving three a dodge does not sprint it jumps !!!!! meaning it will be slow to 60 but once its there if you see 60-150 times compared to a porsche you will laugh your absolute arse of the torque and big bhp means it gets a fesh boost of acceleration out of every gear while a porsche will almost always be accelerating at the same speed slowwing towards its top speed quite alot unlike the dodge which is limited to its weight they are also normally geared down meaning there will still be power untapped at top end. i have driven a a bog standard 98 911 and enjoyed it alot but a dodge is a different experiance all together more of a feeling more of a battle less of a harmony which is i think more enjoyable when you get out a car smiling rather than praising your lap time .
Re: peice of crap.... Where have I heard that the this new Viper has 0-60 in 3 seconds and a top speed of 235+? I don't know where that comes from but it's probably not true. And to the guy who actually had the gaul to state that a Skyline could beat this car, let's just say sore loser. You see I'm at a slight disadvantage here because I haven't really driven these cars before. Much less really seen one. And unfortunately I am a GT player. But actually GT is really close to having all the specs right on the cars so I ask that you don't down play it. But I'm not here because of GT. I want to rant about the Viper. Unless you've really driven one you'll never know the true quality of one. As I said I haven't driven one but I sure can appreciate some the greatness this car has. Gotta stop from now I'll finish this later gotta go.
