  2. where did you get those pics? The third one reminds me of a Vector

  3. The third car looks alot like the Isdera Imperator 108i from '84. But the car you posted is a MB. Isdera has alot of connections with MB, so maybe the MB is based on the Isdera or something.

Anyway here's some info on the Isdera:

Isdera is a German specialist car maker producing supercars based on most Mercedes' components. Back in 1984, it created the Imperator 108i, which was featured in the famous Supercar Contest held by German magazine Auto, Motor und Sport in 1986. Although being the slowest car in the field, the 108i still managed 176 mph and took merely 5 seconds for 0-60 mph. 0-100 mph took 10.8 sec. Power rating in then was 390 hp, not the 350 nor 330hp that generally appeared in other sources.
Undoubtedly, Isdera had a very good relationship with Mercedes-Benz - the 4973 c.c. V8 engine came from Mercedes 500SEC, which was tuned up of course. Gearbox came from the same source. The radical styling was somewhat copied from Mercedes' C111 concept car of the 70s, so was the "Gullwing" doors. One of the distinctive feature was the periscope mirror on the roof, which solved the problem regarding rearward visibility caused by the high-mounted mid-engine.

    Model: Isdera Imperator 108i
    Year of production: 1984
    Layout: Mid-engined, Rwd.
    Engine: V6, sohc, 2v/cyl.
    Capacity: 4973 c.c.
    Power: 390 hp
    Torque: 332 lbft
    Gearbox: 5M
    Kerb weight: 1440 kg
    Top speed: 176 mph
    0-60 mph: 5.0 sec

  20. The Ferrari 400i Meera S.
This one-off Ferrari study-model was designed by Giovanni Michelotti for Ferrari in Torino, Italy. It had unique options, like wipers on every window and a camera at the rear.

    And the Ferrari Testa D'oro

  23. Never seen that Testa thing before. But two questions. What year? And...why the #$%# wasnt it made?

  24. The Testa D'Oro is from 1989 (I guess it was the prototype/study-model). I don't know much about it, except it's a product of Colani.

The second version is the Lotec Testa D'oro made by Colani + Lotec Racing Team.
In 1991 the Colani Ferrari Lotec Testa d'Oro, with Mike Strasburg at the wheel, hit a world record for vehicles with catalytic converters when tested on Salt Lake, Utah. With a flying start, it achieved a top speed of 351 km/h.
This car was available in 1992 for $500k. It had a Ferrari Twin Turbo Flat 12 wich produced 750 Bhp, developed by Ferdinand Pietz. And was based on a Testarossa
