  1. Re: question

    k thanx
  2. does anyone know from experience that the rx7 engines tend to breakdown often?
  3. Re: question

I work on rx-7's for a living and no they dont tend to breakdown and if they do than someone was treating it like shit the only thing that really goes wrong with the rx-7 is the apex seals the stock ones tend to break so therefore you replace them with ceramic apex seals that last for a long period of time the only thing that u need to do is get the motor overhauled around 100-120000 miles
  4. Re: question

I think a rotary is much more massive then other engines, so its only possible if you want so.... I drive a rx7 and i never had problems 8)<!-- Signature -->
  5. Re: question

i drive a 93 fd and i have had it for about 3 months and it has 60k on it and i have yet to have any probs. but one of the big things that i keep hearing about the motor is that the cooling system is pretty weak. but i have nothing to back that up with being that it has yet to happen to me and with luck it will not.
  6. Re: question

I have heard of heat problemz. but that iz fixed with an intercoler and a radiator I have not drove my car much (only 42k on it) but I have heard of otherz puttin' 200k on a motor and never havin' a problem. Life iz how u treat them and yes the ceramic sealz do make that life longer
