  1. doesnt honda have plans for a vtec v10 in this thing..... noone

  2. Actually, I did see something about the new NSX that would feature not a V10 but a V8 Vtec engine. The engine was supposed to be a variation of the same engine used in their cart racers. The HP on that was between 400-500bhp.
    Either way, the NSX is really turning out to be a car very worthy of great potential.
    I agree, who cares about Trans-Ams..good riddens!!
    Can you twin-turbo a Trans-Am???

    Cheers!<!-- Signature -->

  3. I have no clue if honda is planning to make a v8 or v10 NSX but that would be so rad. Cause i have loved honda all my life and the biggest v-tec engine ive ever seen is a v6. Oh and trans ams suck no matter what you do to them.

  4. True...true...
    However, Lamborghini on the other hand...
    Actually, have you seen the prices for used 80's Lambo's??? not too bad actually. For the price of a new NSX, you could buy a used Lamborghini 88' 25th Aniversary... But still, the NSX is looking good!!!<!-- Signature -->

    .....why are you suddenly talking about Lamborghini?<!-- Signature -->

  6. a V10 vtec would be bad asss<!-- Signature -->

  7. It was a vtec V8 they were considering, in the 350-450 horsepower range. Recent announcements suggest they will stick with a V6, but it will have a huge BHP increase

  8. maybe 400 in a V6<!-- Signature -->

    400 for a V6 will be hard..unless if you make the rev goes up to ..hm...16000rpm like the F1 or above?<!-- Signature -->

  10. think about JGTC, also people did make over 400 hp in it, ask Da Phoenix<!-- Signature -->

    I dont' think they will put a JGTC engine in a road car :0<!-- Signature -->

  12. But Da Phoenix have a NSX with 460hp without turbos.<!-- Signature -->

    that's because it's been tuned :\
    you can tune a E55 to over 400 too <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

  14. There is a tuned CLK over 400hp in Vancouver.
    And a Tuned E over 300hp.<!-- Signature -->

    hehe...just get a E55 with over 300hp :p
    CLK..hm..<!-- Signature -->

  16. it's true.<!-- Signature -->

  17. In order for a naturally aspirated 6 cylinder to crank out in excess of 400 horses, you need mad modifications to the internal components to that engine. And when it comes down to it, Honda would be better off (and cheaper) to just produce a V8 VTEC motor. That way, Honda can stick with the Natural Aspiration tradition it's always gone by. By the way, the NSX is the ONLY naturally aspirated supercar being produced in Japan. I mean think about it, Supra, Skyline, RX-7, Evo, Impreza, 3000GT, all turbocharged. What else did I leave out??<!-- Signature -->

  18. all of them are going to be wiped out.<!-- Signature -->

  19. Well, in fact, the NSX is the only car that is in the rules of a supercar in Japan.<!-- Signature -->

  20. I think an 8 might be appropriate. The new Skyline loks like a 4L V8 with about 400HP, and that would give it a huge advantage over the NSX. I don't think Honda wants to play catchup. Can't wait to see what they do.<!-- Signature -->

  21. ummmm.. 400hp.. Dualnote?<!-- Signature -->

  22. In order for Honda to get 400hp from a V6, they will have to raise the size slightly, but not much. Maybe 3.5L, but also raise the RPM. I can see a redline of around 10,000 RPM, especially coming from Honda. You have to figure they are already making 290hp with the current 3.2L. 400hp is only 110hp away, which isn't as impossible as you might think if they increase the size a little and raise the overall RPM. Just remember cars like the S2000, RSX TypeS, and "R" cars. All have about the biggest hp you can find in engines that small. Honda can do it, no problem.<!-- Signature -->

  23. i have been a hondadriver for my entire drivers life, and i think they are some of the best cars on the planet, but you cant sit there and say trans ams eat balls. they are one #$%#en hot car and pretty #$%#en fast, if you really are a car lover, im assuming that u thnk you are, you would have respect for high end cars like the trans am

    Why is Trans am a high end car???<!-- Signature -->

  25. Is it even supposed to be high end? are you comparing to the base civic to the top model Trans AM or something?<!-- Signature -->
