Mecum Auctions’ annual Denver sale sent 611 vehicles across the auction block in early July, with 402 of the classic and collector cars hammering sold. Total sales reached more than $11 million, led by a superb R-Code 427-engined 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL (above) that gaveled for $155,000.
