2006 Perrin Impreza WRX H6
Perrin, a supplier of performance aftermarket parts, is the first to stuff the Tribeca B9’s H6 into the very worthy 2006 WRX. Although, this is no ordinary sawp, as Perrin have taken the standard ‘station wagon’ block and reworked it using American aftermarket parts. Included is a huge Garret GT35R Turbo and custom Supertech pistons. The turbo and its associated hardware help to produce 500 rwhp and when considering driveline efficiency, this would give the engine over 600 bhp at the crank!
To match the ridiculous amount of horsepower, Perrin have outfitted their SEMA show car with an adjustable and stiffer suspension as well as a new paint/wheel/tire treatment.
Perrin have been the first to do the H6 conversion and they won’t be the last. By the time the 2006 SEMA show rolls around, there should be a few more of these exciting conversions.
