The Automobile Club de Monaco has announced that the seventh Grand Prix Monaco Historique has been scheduled for May 8–9, 2010. The event will precede the 68th Grand Prix de Monaco by two weeks in order to allow both groups ample time to access the paddock area of the circuit without impeding the other.
The eight participating classes for this grand event will be:
Series A – Pre-1947 Voiturettes and Grand Prix cars
Series B – Front-engine Grand Prix cars from 1947–1960
Series C – Pre-1953 Sports cars
Series D – 1000-cc Formula 3 cars from 1964–1970
Series E – Rear-engined Grand Prix cars from 1954–1965
Series F – Formula 1 cars from 1966–1974
Series G – Formula 1 cars from 1975–1978
Series H – 1600-cc to 2000-cc Formula 3 cars from 1971–1984
