2015 Ferrari FXX-K Evo to be Auctioned by RM Sotheby’s

Ferrariโ€™s XX Programme was created to develop cutting-edge technology for future road cars while offering its most loyal clients an exclusive driving experience. Unlike competition racing, the programme centers on track-only vehicles built purely for performance and data collection at Ferrari-organized events.

This partnership benefits both parties: Ferrari refines its engineering through real-world use, while owners enjoy access to limited-production cars and dedicated track days. The initiative began in 2005 with the Enzo-based FXX and continued with the 599XX derived from the 599 GTB. The next evolution came with the LaFerrari in 2013, which provided the foundation for the FXX K introduced a year later.

Powered by a 6.3-liter V-12 paired with an F1-derived HY-KERS hybrid system, the FXX-K delivers 1,035 horsepowerโ€”848 from the combustion engine and 187 from the electric motor. Upgrades such as new camshafts, a free-flowing exhaust, and extensive aerodynamic revisions enhanced both power and handling. Its redesigned bodywork and lightweight construction generated 50% more downforce than the LaFerrari, enabling it to lap Ferrariโ€™s Fiorano circuit five seconds quicker.

In 2017, Ferrari unveiled the FXX-K Evo, an even more advanced variant featuring a fixed dual rear wing and refined aero elements that boosted downforce by 23% over the FXX K and 75% compared to the LaFerrari. Only around 60 FXX K and Evo examples were produced, underscoring their exclusivity.

The example offered, chassis #212002, is a factory-upgraded FXX-K Evo with just two owners. It participated in Corse Clienti events before its Evo conversion and has been maintained exclusively by Ferrari. Showing minimal wear and exceptionally low mechanical mileage, it was also displayed at the Hampton Court Concours dโ€™Elegance.

This ultra-rare machine will be offered for auction by RM Sothebyโ€™s on November 1 and is estimated at $4,950,000 – $7,000,000.
