RM Sotheby’s will offer this 2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione as part of their upcoming Sealed Drop auction in late May. It is one of only 999 units built and is projected to sell for up to $2 million. The 812 Competizione offers a truly unique driving experience, thanks to its advanced engineering and track-inspired design.
At its heart is a 6.5-liter, 65-degree V12 engine delivering 819 horsepower and revving up to 9,500 RPM, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated roadgoing Ferrari engine of its time. It rockets from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.85 seconds and can reach a top speed of 211 mph. Supporting this performance are high-tech features such as a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox, E-Diff with Side Slip Control 7.0, Virtual Short Wheelbase 3.0, and F1-Trac, all working to enhance agility and stability at the limit.
Originally delivered through Ferrari of San Diego, this 812 Competizione was extensively optioned with over $150,000 in upgrades. It’s finished in Matte Nero with dual Matte Rosso Magma racing stripes and airbrushed Scuderia shields. The car rides on diamond-polished forged wheels with red Pirelli tire detailing and matching red brake calipers, complementing its aggressive look.
Inside, Nero Alcantara dominates the cabin, highlighted by large racing seats with lifters, trimmed in a checked Rosso Alcantara pattern. Red accents continue throughout, including the boot carpet, stitching, and dashboard details. Extensive carbon fiber options include the air filter box, engine covers, diffuser, front air vents, door components, and center console.
Thoughtful tech and comfort features include Apple CarPlay, adaptive headlights, suspension lifter, heat-insulating windshield, passenger display, and premium hi-fi audio. All these specifications bring the total MSRP to $766,226, making it a highly customized and performance-oriented version of the 812 Competizione.
