2022 Pagani Huayra R Up For Auction

One of only 30 examples built

Unveiled in 2021, the Pagani Huayra R marked the end of the Huayra’s production run, following a similar approach taken with the Zonda R. Rather than evolving its signature twin-turbo AMG V12, Pagani developed an entirely new powerplant with motorsport partner HWA AG—a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 revving to 9,000 rpm and producing 850 horsepower.

Weighing only 198 kg and paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox, the powertrain also known as “Pagani V12-R” offers raw, track-focused performance. With a dry weight of just 1,050 kg, the Huayra R delivers a blistering power-to-weight ratio and a visceral driving experience inspired by 1980s Formula 1 engines.

One of only 30 examples built, chassis number 2 is finished in Pagani’s Cinque exterior specification. Its exposed carbon fiber body features matte surfaces accented by gloss components and Fluo Red stripes, while anodized titanium aluminum details and Olympus bronze brake calipers enhance its dramatic look. The minimalist interior mirrors the exterior with matte carbon fiber and anodized black trim. This bespoke configuration added €300,000 to the original price.

With just 134 kilometers on the odometer, this Huayra R remains in near-new condition and comes complete with factory accessories including a Racetrack Manual and center-lock torque gun. Offered by its original owner, it will be auctioned by Broad Arrow Auctions on May 25 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, with an estimated value of up to $3,580,000.
