Brian Redman’s annual Jefferson 500 race weekend celebrated its 9th anniversary at Summit Point Raceway, West Virginia, on May 19-21. Nearly 200 cars took part in the weekend’s races which included an enduro for ’68-’80 racecars and one for race and production cars through ’65.
Highlights of the weekend included Travis Engen’s victory in the Phil Hill Cup (Chevron) and Bobby Rahal’s flag-to-flag victory in the Eifel “Porsche-only” race driving his new Porsche 908/2.
