Vintage Racecar|Vintage Roadcar magazine will present the VRX Racing Simulators Challenge Trophy by BRM Watches to the winners of the Historic Formula 5000 race at this month’s The HAWK with Brian Redman at Elkhart Lake’s Road America next weekend, July 16-19. Additionally, the winning driver—and one lucky fan who correctly guesses the winner—will each receive an Xbox One Home Entertainment System.
Center of the weekend’s festivities will be VR’s on-site event tent in vendor’s row, which will feature interactive demonstrations of the new sportscardigest.com, a Superformance by Roush GT40 roadcar, Hunziker Apparel, Art With Cars custom posters and CRASH “Upcycled” Jewelry. All purchasers of subscriptions, back issues or other retail items will also receive a special gift bag from Mother’s Polishes and Waxes.
Autograph sessions are also planned at the VR tent with a number of legendary drivers and personalities from racing’s golden age on hand to greet fans.
