Behind the Wheel of the Praga Bohema

Top Gear got to drive it on public roads and the racetrack

The Praga Bohema is a $1.5 million, track-focused hypercar designed to rewrite the rulebook on what a road-legal performance machine can be. The performance figures are impressive—0–62 mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of over 186 mph.

Power comes from a VR38 twin-turbo V6 engine sourced from the Nissan GT-R, which has been extensively tuned to produce 700 horsepower. That power, paired with a curb weight of just 982 kg, puts the Bohema on par with the very best. Unlike the hybrid and electric hypercar trend, Praga kept things analog—rear-wheel drive, no hybrid assistance, and a visceral, single-clutch Hewland sequential gearbox.
