The Nissan range has come a long way in recent years in terms of quality and overall reputation. Car and Driver called the new Altima one of the best mid-size sedans, and the Rogue SUV is a well-built vehicle with a strong market share in the US. The upcoming Ariya is an all-new electric SUV for Nissan and will line up alongside the Nissan Leaf EV when it goes on sale later in 2022. Some existing models like the Pathfinder and the Frontier have been redesigned for 2022, while others add new options to give buyers more choices.
Nissan honours its motorsports connections with the long-anticipated arrival of the all-new Z sports coupe in the performance segment. It is expected to go on sale in Spring 2022 as a hardtop coupe, with a convertible version expected later.
Then there is the Nissan GT-R. It's been around for well over a decade now, and it's becoming harder to justify its steep price. However, the potent supercar still packs a lot of punch, and Nissan has introduced a new limited-edition spec for 2022 (a strategy it's regularly employed to keep the car relevant).
Here, you will find a list of new Nissan models for sale in the US, including the starting prices. Note that starting prices are just that because there are several models and options for each model (like most of the other carmakers).

2022 Nissan Performance-Focused Lineup

2022 Nissan GT-R
Base price: $115,335
Engine: 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6
Power: 565 hp @ 6,800 rpm
Torque: 467 lb-ft @ 3,300 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.9 s
Top Speed: 196 mph
The venerable Nissan GT-R is still going strong on its now decade-old R35 platform. Regular incremental updates have helped the car keep up with competition even though the overall design language has remained virtually unchanged since its 2009 introduction. The updates have dragged along the price, too, and a base model GT-R today costs north of $100,000. The 'value-for-performance' tag might have evaporated, but the GT-R still has what it takes to take on big-name rivals in its class.

2022 Nissan GT-R Nismo
Base price: $220,000 (est.)
Engine: 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6
Power: 600 hp @ 6,800 rpm
Torque: 481 lb-ft @ 3,600 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 205 mph
The GT-R NISMO is essentially a GT-R on steroids. It has the same twin-turbo 3.8-litre V-6 as the base model, but it's been tuned to put out all of 600 hp. There will be a Special Edition model of the GT-R based on the NISMO trim for 2022. The supercar will be identifiable by its Stealth Gray, an exposed carbon-fibre hood and 20-inch wheels with red trim. Nissan will only build 300 units of this limited-edition car, and they have all been sold out despite its plus $200,000 price tag.

Nissan Z
Base price: $40,000 (est)
Engine: 3.0L Twin-turbocharged V6
Power: 400 hp
Torque: 350 lb/ft
0-60 mph: TBD
Top Speed: TBD
The eighth-generation Nissan Z is the brand's first Z car without a number in the model name (which in the past had reflected the displacement of the engine). It continues efforts to differentiate the car from the previous iterations. It features a new design and packs a 3.0L Twin-turbocharged V6 from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400. The Nissan Z will be rear-wheel-drive only, but owners can pick between a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission.
