The Nissan range has come a long way in recent years in terms of quality and overall reputation. Car and Driver called the new Altima one of the best mid-size sedans, and the Rogue SUV is a well-built vehicle with a strong market share in the US. The Ariya is an all-new electric SUV for Nissan and lined up alongside the Nissan Leaf EV when went on sale in late 2022. Some existing models like the Pathfinder and the Frontier were redesigned in 2022, with new options and features added in 2023 in mild model updates to give buyers more choices.
Nissan honoured its motorsports connections with the release of the long-anticipated, all-new Z sports coupe in the performance segment. It went on sale in Spring 2022 as a hardtop coupe, with a convertible version expected either in 2023 or 2024.
Then there is the Nissan GT-R. It's been around for well over a decade now, and it's becoming harder to justify its steep price. However, the potent supercar still packs a lot of punch, and is available still in both the "base spec" Premium, and the racing-department tuned NISMO editions in 2023.
Here, you will find a list of new Nissan models for sale in the US, including the starting prices. Note that starting prices are just that because there are several models and options for each model (like most of the other carmakers).

2023 Nissan Performance-Focused Lineup

2023 Nissan GT-R Premium
Base price: $116,040
Engine: 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6
Power: 565 hp @ 6,800 rpm
Torque: 467 lb-ft @ 3,300 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.9 s
Top Speed: 196 mph
The venerable Nissan GT-R sports car is still going strong on its now decade-old R35 platform. Regular incremental updates have helped the car keep up with competition even though the overall design language has remained virtually unchanged since its 2009 introduction. The updates have dragged along the price, too, and a base model GT-R today costs north of $115,000. The 'value-for-performance' tag might have evaporated, but the GT-R still has what it takes to take on big-name rivals in its class.

2023 Nissan GT-R Nismo
Base price: $215,740
Engine: 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6 tuned by NISMO
Power: 600 hp @ 6,800 rpm
Torque: 481 lb-ft @ 3,600 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 205 mph
The GT-R NISMO is essentially a GT-R on steroids. It has the same twin-turbo 3.8-litre V-6 as the base model, but it's been tuned to put out all of 600 hp. It is now considered the top-tier spec of the GT-R in 2023, as well as a full supercar. It is identifiable by its special colorways of Solid Red, Jet Black Pearl, Super Silver Quadcoat, and Pearl White Tricoat. I also features an exposed carbon fiber roof, painted carbon fiber hood, trunk, and front fenders with air louvres. It also sports special NISMO x RAYS 20 inch alloy wheels, 10 inches wide at the front and 10.5 inches for the rears.

2023 Nissan Z
Base price: $40,990
Engine: 3.0L Twin-turbocharged V6
Power: 400 hp
Torque: 350 lb/ft
0-60 mph: 4.5 s
Top Speed: 155 MPH (electronically limited)
The eighth-generation Nissan Z is the brand's first Z car without a number in the model name (which in the past had reflected the displacement of the engine). It continues efforts to differentiate the car from the previous iterations. It features a new design and packs a 3.0L Twin-turbocharged V6 from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400. The Nissan Z is rear-wheel-drive only, but owners can pick between a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission. A convertible version is expected to be announced at some point in either 2023 or 2024.
